This is the cover art done by Jesus Garcia Lopez for "The Goblin and the Mage".
Thank you, Jesus! I am very pleased with this work; the detail, the colors, not to mention he works very fast! I love it!
You can also browse other art he has done here: (http://raro666.deviantart.com/) But Viewer discretion is advised!
How are you?
You can call me Ashes. :D
I have been writing shorts on and off since I was thriteen years old and one novel in particular. And while, I won't share those with the public, it was only more recently that I decided to become serious about my writing. I've been thumbing through my works-in-progress and instead of shoving them back in the drawer to collect dust, I've decided to finally toss aside my shy nature and give the real world a shot. Perhaps this will give me the drive I need to complete some of my favorite works.
I am a bit of a perfectionist at times, never really being quite happy with my end results, so some of my incomplete stories have been left open for quite some time. And, by "some time" ... I mean years. Most of my shorter stories were written when I was just simply in the mood. Inspiration struck, and I just went with it. My longer ones took more time, thought and worry. Worry that someone wouldn't like the way the tale was going. I am... a people pleaser I suppose. ~.^
I first got into writing about the same time Dragon Ball Z was showing for the first time ever on Cartoon Network. Sailer Moon, Gundam Wing, Wolf's Rein, Card Captor Sakura, Kikaider... Medabots on the local station, Fighting Foodons... Esca Flowne... But this all led me to role-playing in an AOL chat room where I made friends and learned everything I still use today. I loved role-playing so much, that I started writing down my own ideas and eventually wrote my own novel. Which isn't published... it also is simply collecting dust. Lol! But, that's beside the point! That's why I'm here >.>
I am 29, married, and I'm pretty lazy. I have two small dogs (Scribbles and Omnom) who are spoiled rotten, and I has no kids.
I'm addicted to video games, namely mmo's and minecraft >.< FFXIV! My favorite game-of-the-past is Legend of the Dragoon. Albert/Lavitz are all MINE! You can't has them! My favorite game-style is and always will be term-based RPG's. I love anime. I play Savage Worlds (better than DnD) just about every weekend. I collect comics; mainly the new 52. My favorite super hero is Wonder Woman. My favorite DC Man is Green Arrow. I was a Marvel Girl until recently, I'll admit. My judgement is wavering. I hate Superman... Just letting you know~ I adore Moon Knight, Hellboy and Dare Devil. I'm just now getting into Dead Pool. He's gross, but funny as crud! I also just finished Green Lantern the Animated Series... I frikin' loved it! I <3 Razer! Claimed~ You can't has him. You can has Hal or Kilawog. ...Or Zox... :D
I love reading. My favorite current series, which I haven't finished it yet, is the Dresden Files. He just... should shut his face hole. I love anything Richard A. Knaak puts out. And while I don't play WoW anymore, the lore is amazingly interesting. And there is so much of it! And I am not a Blizzard fan. I need to read bunches more, but I've found it difficult to find the time these days. But, I hope if I get lots of fans, you can all help me to stay on task. <( ^. - )V I haven't had much time to explore, yet. But, I'll get there!
Anyways~ I hope you enjoy my writing, and I hope to hear good things from all of you. -crosses fingers- Goodluck to you! And wish me luck!
If you leave me a comment to read your work, I will whenever I get the chance. Please be patient though, I usually stay pretty busy. I have a lot of family and friends that tend to keep me pretty occupied. :D Plus, a full time job. But I, in turn, ask that you also read mine. (I can read late in the day at work, but I can't write >_<;)
