Short Story / Other
Hello. I am a 18 year old guy who loves writing.(Yeah a nerd.) We writers enjoy a certain privilege. We can choose a point of view and make the reader dwell on it. Therefore we indirectly make the reader use that magical thing called imagination. Therefore it is a great privilege to be a author. It's not easy but its a prize worth having. Therefore we feel that writing stuff is a expression of our freedom and our will. But the roses always come with the thorns(except when you buy em from the shop. they remove that. but Anyways..). with the boon of writing comes the curse of being in an obligation to the readers and some of the haters. We own them a good read. If you can't provide a good story then you are worse than anything on this planet. I have suffered indignation and shunning on my part by my friends when i told them i was interested in literature and writing fanfiction but it's the price you pay to write. Many of the authors didn't have to sacrifice anything. Get a laptop, jot down crack stuff and click click. And join a community, they get hits, reviews just like that. It has been different for me. I write in the middle of night on my phone so my family won't catch me. To them writing would be waste of time. To me it means a whole different world. And even then some people have welcomed me onto AFF it means a lot to me. And many authors here have sacrificed things too. Every fic is worth the sweat and blood of every hour of an author. There are works out there that are legendary and well written. Sinners, Luca's Saga and equilibrium would be to mention a few. I would throw in Solaceon's Daycare center for its rich erotic content and its excellent writing. So i would like to commend and welcome all readers that read fanfiction on this site. We are but little of the children of god.
