I'm going to start over with this. I have a journal that I write in everyday, so I'm going to post something from there everyday. I might have to take a picture of it so you can see it, but I will.
So, my name is Ali. I'm in the middle of being young and being old. I haven't quite found my place in this world yet, but I'm trying. I'm 13 and I've never gotten a B(at school) in my life. Ever. I think I'm more mature than a lot of my other friends, or at east that's what they tell me. I can't really have a deep talk with anyone but my best friend, but that person is so distant now. So I take all of my deep thoughts and such and put them on paper, or type them on the internet, or just leave them in my head, bottled up. I play the bassoon in my school's honor band, and I love it. I'm also learning how to play the piano and clarinet. I also hope to be able to play the cello and guitar one day too. I'm very musical. I can't describe myself as much as I'd like to. As for my poetry, it doesn't rhyme like poetry should. It's just... I don't know. I still write poetry that DOES rhyme sometimes, but honestly it sucks. What inspires me, well, everything does, especially music. I have an interesting taste in it though. For instance I don't listen to Beyonce or rap or bubble gum pop. It's just really different. My favorites or Bon Iver, Imogen Heap, and NeedtoBreathe. I don't know. My friends inspire me as well. Mostly just because we've been through SO much together and I just have to write it down. Oh and I really hope you enjoy this as much as I do. It's what I love. Honestly, I would have never gotten into poetry and developing my own style of it if it weren't for Kyrie. She is one of my best friends and she is really really awesome and just amazing.
That was REALLY long sorry.
