Brent Mason began his creative expression as an animator and portrait artist. He soon began to deviate to other forms of creativity such as writing. His first book, is a tale of an age old belief that the natural order of a continual peace on the African plains is maintained through a supernatural order of acknowledgement to the same on an astral plane of the unknown.
Through research of African history such as how the moon, the sun, the animals, and other ancestral beliefs as well as how the generational influences play an important part in the life of this great country, this book was made through an ardent belief that once you are a part of such an ancestry and follow up on certain concepts, a great story can be created to not only promote its people but to also bring attention to the plight of its people.
It is upon this devotion to continue writing books based on that of African as well as African-American spiritual beliefs.
Brent has three daughters.
