I am a freelance writer, graphic designer, and
communications consultant. Originally from the San Francisco Bay
Area, I have lived in Damascus, Oregon since 1998. By A Thread, is my
first published novel.
A native of San José, California, I graduated from Branham High School at age 16 and subsequently spent a year working and traveling in Europe. A summer job in the Black Forest town of Utzenfeld was followed by winter employment in a restaurant in Basel, Switzerland.
I subsequently spent two years in Puerto Rico and among the Cuban population of southern Florida. I attended one year at Weber State (College) in Ogden, Utah and later attended BYU in Provo, Utah, majoring in Soviet Studies to prepare for a career in intelligence.
I have been a reviews editor for Publish magazine, as well as an associate features editor for the now defunct PC/Computing magazine, a Ziff Davis publication. Prior to that I worked at ZD Labs for three years.
My husband Chuck and I have been together since 1993, and were married in Whistler, British Columbia in 2004. We have been adopted by a cat named Rudy.
