Profile Information

Welcome to my humble nook. Where I undo my coat and run a hand through my soft Italian chestnut hair. Look softly at the maple walls, smooth walnut floors, plush oriental carpet. Sit on one of the zibeline sofas, lay on a small velvet and fur pillow. Inhale fragrance from the gentle candles and select an old and hard-cover book from under the glass tables, made of the same marbled glass as the windowpanes set into the walls, reflecting the rain. Examine the book, falling apart at its yellowed seams but the ink pressed into the pages quite clearly, and begin to read.

I can see that many of your weary eyes, reflecting the device on which man has pushed up in the sand, mere footprints on the beach of destiny, are in need of good writing. Wishing to find somebody who weaves words out of water and cloth. Braiding words, language, into a thread whose silky beauty is beyond compare. Shall I promise you that? Ah, I don't want to spoil your hearts. And I'll not describe my own self, but I'll sit in a soft shadow.

You may pour your soul out to me, all the golden honey liquid inside, or you may ignore me entirely. But I'll offer you a tray of my words. Chew them, honey spilling out of the tablet into your mouth. Sip daintily, fingers exquisitely poised over the straw. They come off a cob, picked in the dappled sunlight from an orchard's tree, underneath a silver and pewter fork sliced into pieces, or twirled in a child's happy mouth.

I only hope that you'll come to dine with me again.
