Profile Information

Hey, scruds (that's you).

My name is Catherine. I am 19 years old and I am an aspiring writer, and I hope to one day be a published author. You can find me blogging (and reblogging) about my magical daily adventures as just another human being at IF you know me in real life, just keep what you see there to your self, danke schön.

Dear me. Has it already been so long since I've been able to write anything productive? I've been writing what can only be described as fanfiction for my own story. Oneshots and AUs and the like. I'm just not inspired to write "forwards," so I"m writing back in time, Rohain's past, her family, her history. It's so much more fun....

Yup, yup, so rewriting this shit. Man... it's gonna be a bumpy ride...

January 2, 2013:

I am in the midst of rewriting my story. My story and universe revolve around Rohain, an elf who was falsely accused of a double murder. She fled the realm in the north and travelled south after having all sorts of fun adventures. The book itself is not about those adventures; those are the stories I hope to post here.

Rohain is from Roanwood, and elven realm on the Northern Continent. She is a warrior who helps defend Roanwood from a growing threat in the northeast. Trolls and ogres are attacking settlements and killing elves daily. Lavrénn is a neighboring elven realm where Rohain is accused of killing the prince Sayarculen, and her own brother, Ranaien. She escapes from Lavrénn with the help of an old friend and  flees to Roanwood.

However, Lavrénn's Queen Heredwhën is persistant, and her guards track Rohain. Rohain manages to escape again, leaving everything she knows as a warrior of Roanwood.

She ends up in Andiam, a human realm on the southern Continent. She goes west across Andiam [I'll post a map later, I promise] to Rhyfsa, another, and secluded elven realm where she already has friends from her majestical adventures mentioned above. Rhyfsa is north of Iamlak, an even more scluded elven realm.

However, life's not that simple; on her way to Rhyfsa, Rohain meets up (accidentally) with Princess Branwhën of Lavrénn, who was sent to Andiam by her mother, Heredwhën, with an envoy of LAvrénn warriors to assist the kingdom of Andiam in a war they're fighting. But Andiam is losing really badly and so the king sends a convoy to Iamlak to beg for help. The convoy, lead by Branwhën, is hijacked by bandits.

Also in the envoy is Rina, a girl from Andiam who has always wanted to be a knight (shades of Alanna, anyone?). She finds Branwhën and together, they go towards Rhyfsa, not really knowing where they're going. That's when they meet Rohain (by chance, of course).

My story involves their journey to Iamlak and the resulting events. I hope I'm not the only one to find it interesting, and I really hope others will want to read it since I've put a lot of time and effort into it. So where can I find this majestical magical book, you ask? You can't. At least, not yet. Hopefully somebody will want to publish it for me someday. Until then, and until it's done, it doesn't exist beyond my head and y computer. When I have it done, I plan to self publish it, and if you really like the idea for some reason, I'll send one to you (if you ask really nicely).

That's about all I have for now, folks. Thanks for hanging in there if you read this far down the page :) I love you, and be well.
