Words matter. Words bind and tear, hurt and heal. Words can save you and words can condemn you and words can kill you. And when you fall in love with words, you risk all of these. I love my words defiantly, I love them openly, and I love them with unbridled care. I am young, female, half-Latina, gay - but though disadvantaged in the eyes of some, with these words I have power and it is a power that eventually transcends all.
