My name is Danielle Lambert, I have been writing since I could hold a pen. In my down time, it's what I do. Often described as lively, I usually turn a tad mousey when I have a pen and a notebook. I try my hardest to write realistic and relatable novels. Most of my work in the past was more fantasy but I do love Sci-fi work the most. Realistic fiction and history pieces are however my most popular. My history novels are not boring history novels, but are fantasy pieces where I can take a moment from history and take what is the most interesting, I mix it with some more realistic factors, their desire for things and give them a personality so you aren't just reading a text book you are experiencing their life in a thrilling adventure where you can watch the movie of their lives in your head as you read along.
I grew up in Comstock, New York. When most hear New York you think: skyscrapers, taxi cabs and traffic. However, I mean to say I live in Upstate New York, if that doesn't change the mental image that means farms, open space, cows, horses, cattle, small farms, small towns and knowing everybody's name. Growing up on a farm has given me much self expression, I am a guitarist and song writer, I often take my guitar down a dirt path on my farm that leads to a pond with a humongous stone overlooking the water which is in the water mainly yet is still connected to land, I sit on the edge of the rock typically with my feet in the water (in Summer and Spring) and I write my songs and strum away. I even just bring my notebook and write stories.
My life is not as simple as I wish, but as a writer I get to see things in many point of views which puts me in perspective and keeps me going. I am sixteen as of now, when I was six my parents split up and I was devestated (my father is my best friend) I was lonely and sad, out of that hurt came a need for self expression and perspective. Ever since then, I play guitar (like my father), I sing, write poetry, songs and stories, and I am an actress, (actually I am currently actress of the year in the Upstate New York region and am nominated for the year of 2014 as well). I was recently diagnosed with mood disorder. A mix of depression, anxiety and bipolar which was hard to accept. I was sent to a hospital for two weeks before this analysis because of my panic attacks and lingering depression. I am glad to say I've made it through and would love to be an example for those with similar issues, you CAN get better!
Next year I will be attending a college in Florida, this will be my first time away from home, I am going to go for Early Childhood Education and Performance Studies. Thank you for reading and thanks so much for any and all support, I appreciate you all and sincerely hope to hear from you with any and all comments you may have!
Much love and devotion,
Danielle Marjorie Lambert
