I've been a writer all of my life. I am a member of the St Louis Writer's Guild which will soon celebrate our 100th anniversary. We have an annual conference Gateway Con which will take place June 14th, 15th and 16th at the Renaissance Hotel in St Louis, Missouri. I am currently working on a non-fiction story about how I discovered and brought my original grandparents to life in my own awareness. Both of my parent's were adopted and died knowing next to nothing about their origins. In less than one year, using DNA and the matching sites, Ancestry as well as 23 and Me, I know who ALL 4 of them were, have located living decendants and find the actual stories fascinating. Georgia Tann the notorious baby seller who stole many children away from their parents including my mom through the Tennessee Children's Home Society in Memphis TN is part of my family's legacy.
