Profile Information

My name is Aaron Hopkins. My goal as an author is to write original stories by thinking outside of the box beyond what is normal or expected of me. My main interest is horror.

If you read something I write, please comment even it's negative. I thrive on feedback. If you comment on my work, I will read and comment on yours.

My featured writing is Under the Pier. Here is what people are saying about it.

Your writing is hauntingly beautiful! Your attention to detail is amazing and makes the words flow. Thoroughly enjoying this, Blue.

Wow this was incredibly amazing!!! I love the flow of the writing and the sentence structure is beyond perfect imo. I think the premise of the story is going to be a great one. I don't read a lot of horror but I do own many stephen king novels. I like how your writing doesn't drag on like a lot of his books have the tendency to do (no offence to Stephen King of course.) He is the king of horror for a reason. :) To be honest I have a hard time switching my genre to fantasy, mystery or horror. I give credit to anyone that has the ability to write for it. I have ideas in my head for fantasy and horror but struggle to find a style that fits the ideas. Maybe one day though. ;) I like that your story is also in third person. It helps create the best imagery. The beginning of the sun was my favorite. I write a lot about the sun, it holds so much power in its light. The hand and the foot prints was a great end of the chapter too! I really enjoyed this! Keep up the good work and keep me updated! :)

Oh wow this a good chapter! I'm shocked, absolutely shocked! That nobody has commented on this yet! Your attention to detail is amazing and making us already care for the character is great we've learned so much about him in such a short time like the fact that his life isn't very exciting which we can basically get from the fact that he was excited that he found anything haha I'm sad though that his wife is in a coma :/ that has to be tough and I know under all that nonchalant attitude he must be feeling some real deep pain not to mention seeing dead bodies in the sand. I mean God can your day get any worse? I guess..the body could have been his wifes...then that would have sucked more but you wasn't haha I love how you left us with a HUGE cliffhanger at the end! We wanna know who this guy is! We wanna know why he got killed! Was it a coincidence that our main guy found him? Who knows you know? Could have been a set up dun dun dun!!! Sorry I'm a lollipop sucker for a conspiracy theory hah and sudden twists and turns lol Either way I love Scott and I love Chill already! And totes shipping #TeamShill! All the way till the end of this story, you are an amazing writer and this is an amazing start! More people should be aware of your prowess as a writer! ?ui=2&ik=f79591ca70&view=att&th=147ea1e3
