Important Note on RRs!!

In regards to reading requests:  I offer strict and sometimes informational feedback.  If you have grammar and spelling mistakes, I will point them out.  If your dialogue isn't flowing right, or your writing lacks descriptions, I will let you know.  My goal as a critique here on Booksie is to help other writers grow and expand their skills.  If you do not like that, then do not leave me a reading request.  You have your warning.

Profile Information

Attracted to the Red Flag, by MABelle6

Hi.  My name is Dixie. I am a twenty-four-year-old pre-nursing student, also actively enlisted in the United States Air Force.  I am currently working on my project, Blood and Stone, a project that's been in the works for the past two years now.  My genres of choice include romance, historical fiction, and fantasy/supernatural.  I like to provide honest, detailed feedback, which unfortunately sometimes comes off as nit-picky.  If you don't like it, keep stepping and don't drop your RR on my page.  Otherwise, if that's what you're looking for, go right on ahead.

My aspirations as a writer are to one day see my name on the New York Times Bestsellers list, as well as do a series of book tours.  I love to travel (budget providing), with Scotland and Ireland at the top of my bucket list of places to go.  I want to one day open up a horse rescue sanctuary, where I can also provide troubled kids with a stable, loving home.  Don't ask for my favorite book, as it changes week to week.  My favorite human is my boyfriend, Jason, and my favorite non-human is my border collie mix, Moonshadow.

One Dark Knight

From the ashes, we will rise.

As a war prize from a fallen kingdom, Mar is now nothing more than a prized broodmare to the Rorthen Court, an exotic pet to be used and then cast away.  The Merchant keeps her enslaved so that he can have full rights to her breeding and body, her pain fattening his pockets.  He will sell her to the highest bidder, and everything has a price.  Bought as a birthday present for the Rorthen prince, she believes that for the first time in six years, she might finally have a chance at revenge.  But there are other players on the board, and even vengeance must take a back seat when an ancient evil steps up to play.

Blood and Stone:

Amara is the heir to the Ellarian throne, but when political unrest threatens her seat, she must yield to traditions she doesn't agree with.  But there are much larger dangers on the horizon, and the creatures that lurk in the shadows are after much more than her throne.  A war is coming, the likes of which only arise every three thousand years.  Beasts are awakening, hungry and desperate.  The gods are picking and choosing their weapons.

The Fourth Gods War begins.
