Profile Information

I graduated from the University of Notre Dame in 1971 with a Bachelor of Arts in Modern Languages & Communications.  I studied as part of the university’s international program in Angers, France and returned to live in Paris, France after graduation.  This is when and where I was able to live the bohemian lifestyle typical of a young man’s pursuit of self.  The stay in Paris nurtured my love for writing and painting.

Writing has been my passion for many years, flourishing during my Paris days and resurrected to full throttle after retirement.  I completed the Writer’s Digest Writing to Sell Fiction course with Paul Darcy Boles and Mort Castle as my instructors, and am currently taking the James Patterson Master Class on-line.  I have completed two novels, Delusion and Enigma, and a parody entitled Poor David’s Almanac. I have also completed a collection of my short stories in a book called Moments of Our Lives, a collection of poetry, In Shadows and Smiles, and a memoir, My Life’s Work.  In addition, I publish a blog at  My short story The Lat Time I Saw My Father merited Honorable Mention in a recent Glimmer Train contest, and Fallen Leaves was a part of a collection for James Patterson’s Master Class.

My goals include touching the lives of others with my writing and artwork (I still am an active artist) and having my work published so as to reach a wider audience.
