I have been a teacher in the city of Allentown PA. for the past 20 years.During that time I have had a multitude of experiences with young people from miniority urban homes people often dont understand. I have decided to write down these recollections in a short story format so others might begin to percive what I call the "The Urban School Experience".These stories of Latino,African American as well as white hard working poor have opened my eyes to many things I previously coudn't imagian. It is my hope in sharing these stories that people become aware of the struggles of many young people today who are inhabiants of 0ur American cities.
