Vick Gerzi is a fast food employee...

He cooks your hamburgers and your french fries... And he's trying to save your life.

To bring in more customers a fast food restaurant called KOPIASTE opens in a suburban town in southern Georgia in the very near future. The food they make has one extra ingredient: Nicotine - The most addictive substance on the planet Earth.

Due to boredom because of a series of elctrical storms predicted to last several more years, people are deciding to eat more and play less. Radio signals are now scrambled, the internet is shot due to lost satelites, and television is nothing but a scrambled mess due to buzzed cables. This future has nothing bright in it and Vick Gerzi knows it.

Vick Gerzi is a seventeen year old who loves his girlfreind and his nieghbors car. He sits at home and writes poems listening to an old record player he got from his grandfather who owns hundreds of Led Zeppelin, Queen, Jimmy Hendrix, CCR,  Pink Floyd, and other late seventy artists records. His rescent boredom has led him to investigate the behaviors of a customer who has ordered the same meal for over a year, the activites that go on beyond the freezer doors, and the possibilty of him purchasing a 1965 Mustang in a Junk Yard next door.
