Once upon a time, there was a dragon, snake and a wolf which have all just arose from Earth. They all lived in a cave which was dark and musty and covered in slime. They were always at the cave and none of them had left in a decade. One day, the dragon, snake. And wolf grew tired of the cave and wanted to go somewhere else. They each decided to leave the cave but came to find out, there was no where else they could go. About a decade ago, this was not the case. There was land surrounding the cave which overtime had broken, fallen, or been destroyed.

Since they all couldn’t leave the cave, they all decided to go even deeper down into the cave to see what they would discover. As they got further it began to get colder and colder. Eventually, it was so cold ice began to cover the ground where they were walking. The ground began to get sticky and the dragon’s and wolf’s feet were beginning to get stuck. The snake was the only one able to slither down the trail. Time was going by and even as the dragon and the wolf struggled to walk, they were starving and so was the snake. In hopes of finding food, they did not stop, they kept going.

Suddenly, they heard a slight screech sound a little bit up the trail. The snake slithered towards it thinking it was a delicious meal. Come to think of it, it was a rat! The snake discovered there was not only one rat but a whole pack of them. The snake ran back to tell the dragon and wolf there was food The snake looked and looked and could not find them. After a while of searching, the snake went back to his food.

As the snake got closer this time, he heard a loud thumping sound. The snake could see two shadows, one shadow was tall and wide. The other shadow was short and slim. The snake sneaked up on the shadows as quietly as he could. He got closer and realized it was the dragon and wolf! They noticed the snake and ran off quickly with the rats, dropping some on the trail. The snake was so disappointed, so he cooked his rats, packed up his stuff and tried to find a way out of there.

Sunlight appeared down the trail where the snake was going. The followed the light and it led him out the cave. After that, the snake never saw the dragon or wolf ever again and he kept walking down the trail and never looked back.
