I'm twenty years of age and have been writing since I was fourteen. I started in school when I became bored with my English class, feeling like I knew it all and didn't need to pay attention. And I was right, of course. I have multiple long stories that I've written throughout the years but have only finished maybe two or three. My problem is actually finishing and/or sticking to one story at a time. When I started my first year of college, I was so consumed that I couldn't focus on writing and therefore, was struck with writer's block. And when I do have the mental capacity to write, I can't focus on one. I have what I like to call, writer's A.D.D. I tend to come up with new stories while in the middle of writing one. How do I surpass this? I have no clue. But I hope to publish at least one of my stories sometime before I die. And I truly believe that I can accomplish this.
