I began writing fanfiction as a simple way to put my ideas into words. I used to daydream a lot in class, and I would create scenarios in my head according to the song I was listening to, and during the night, transforming those daydreams and scenarios into some kind of story. My first story was published here actually under the username "lovingme" back when I was a freshman in high school (those were the days...); it was terrible haha. Then, as I went through my "Justin Bieber phase" I really began developing plots. I began posting these on a website called "fun140" which is long gone haha as well as that phase.
It wasn't until last year when I really began writing something other than fanfiction. That first story was "Friends & Paradise" that actually began as a fanfic but turned into my first full story- a three-part story at that. That story along with "State of Grace" were kind of a big deal for my 2012 stories. And then came "Our Celebration."
I wrote it at the beginning of this year, thinking it'd be fun to read it on my way to Orlando with my best friend, however the trip never happened. But, I was't going to give up the daydream that easily; so I began writing and came up with a book that I can honestly say I'm proud of. Sure, it is an adaptation of Nicholas Spark's novel, "The Notebook" modernized and in Florida, and it might have some elements of my life, but it's a book that I've caught myself going back to a million times a day. All I know is that, back in Wattpad, luck wasn't really on my side. I just decided to try something and see if maybe it's me or maybe it's the readers. But something is wrong because I barely had reads.
There's another book that I began writing over the summer, which is "Because You Live" full of real-life drama and evolving around a character that deals with problems that I'm sure a lot of people have around the world today.
I don't know where it's going, because writing is something that I've always done and I won't give up just because I only have 5 reads on a story that has a realistic idea and is edited countless times in case of errors, when a story about being Harry Style's girlfriend has around a million and hasn't even been proofread before publishing; which one's the wrong one? Anyway, check out my books, or don't. But I can assure you that you won't find a poorly written book or plot.
