Isaac Cooper, or me, is a very young new writer. At the ripe age of 17 he decided to start writing a novel, having always wanted to write one and having a very interesting idea, he set to work.
OK now that third person thing is bugging me.
So, I really like writing and reading books and everything else that comes with that. My first book 'Ice in the Water' is a story about mental illness, the struggles people have to face when diagnosed and how they cope with everyday life.
The story revolves around three unique characters each having a mental illness; two become involve in a very strange and odd murder while the other is deeply in love with a woman he happens to see in a bar, of whom he does not even know the name of and becomes completely obsessed over.
I personally think (Well, of course I would) that I have a really interesting and highly unique story that I cannot wait to share with people. I've created this to hopefully garner some constructive feedback that can help make the book stronger. Considering I actually don't have anyone else to read it aside from my parents at the moment, any other feedback I recieve will potentially be invaluable.
I'll be posting chapters here and updates on how the book is going and whatever else pertains to the writing of said book. You can follow my antics even more closely via the blue little bird: https://twitter.com/TheOxygenic
Some of my influences regarding writing are as follows: Victor Hugo, J.K Rowling, Chuck Palahniuk, H.G Wells. Although Victor Hugo's incredible book 'Les Miserables' as been by far my biggest influence, I love that book so much..
