In mid 1972 I surrendered my heart to ministry. My father has been pastoring for over fifty-five years and has always encouraged my brothers and I to dig into the Word of God. In that year I submitted to the prompting of the Holy Spirit and began preaching in some of the local churches.
As I matured in ministry, I felt the leading of the Lord to seek out other ministers that could teach me more of the Word. I also began attending school and working on my music.
By the early 1980’s I began singing in some of the churches, and also with my brother and his wife. We recorded and sang in most of the state of Washington and I soon found a passion for music. I also continued writing and preaching.
In 1988, I traveled to Chicago and met my wife. There we founded RTMI and began doing ministry in the Chicago-land area. While there, I continued to write music, and recorded my first album. I spoke in many churches and also worked as Youth and Music pastor.
In 1993 we traveled with my parents to Missouri and began working there. We found that the spiritual soil was hard and we struggled. We joined up with a team of evangelists that traveled in Southwest Missouri. We also founded a small church outside of Elk Creek, Mo. Finally we joined up with New Hope Assembly. There we worked with some good friends as they saw God move in revival in their church. We also helped found the New Hope in Recovery group that worked with addicts.
In 2006, the unexpected happened and my wife left me after eighteen years of marriage. The event was devestating and it would have broken me if not for the care and love of my brother. I remained in St. Augustine for the next few years by eventually made my way to Arkansas to help with my brother and his wife in establishing a new work in the town of Heber Springs.
After living there for a few years I made a move to Lakewood, CO. Where currently I am working with a small church in the prayer ministry and the single adult ministry. I am continuing with my writing and music while living here and hope to eventually publish one of my many works.
