Hi there, my name is James and I'm 23 years old. Back in September 2013, I published my very first support website, which was aimed at anyone and everyone, to give support to those who just needed someone other than a family member or friend to talk to. I have a new support website, which I published in 2016 called 'Know You Are Never Alone,' (known as KYANA for short). I love how poetry can really make you lose yourself in a world of your own and I truly believe in those things that come from the heart, for they are the greatest.
I love meeting up with friends and spending quality time with family, which I think is really important. I love walking our three dogs on various walks, meditation, camping, cycling, swimming, travelling, listening to music from the 1930's right through to the 1980's and just generally enjoying life as much as possible. I'm an old-fashioned person and like to treat people how I myself would like to be treated and believe that manners cost nothing at all. I have zero tolerance when it comes to bullying, because I've had experience of it before (as I'm sure a lot of you have too). I hate to hear of anyone being bullied by others, it should not be happening! I'm a firm believer in kindness and compassion towards others. Let's be kind instead of cruel, let's help out instead of simply ignoring those in need. Let's show compassion instead of coldness but most of all... Let us show love instead of hate.
Be nice to each and every person that you meet, because you don't know the things they've been through, the pain they've endured, the sorrow their hearts has had to live with, the scars both physical and mental that remain with them. Tell a girl that she's pretty, instead of putting her down and calling her ugly. Tell someone that they mean something, rather than making them feel worthless. Comfort someone and tell them things will be okay, instead of leaving them to suffer in silence. Do whatever you can to be an aura of goodness to others.
If you ever want to talk about anything, whatever it may be no matter how big or small... Or if you just want to get in touch, then please do not hesitate to:

"To be able to practice five things everywhere under heaven, constitutes perfect virtue... Gravity, generosity of the soul, sincerity, earnestness and kindness."
The Story of The Son With $100.00
Son: "Daddy, may I ask you a question?"
Dad: "Yeah sure, what is it?"
Son: "Daddy, how much do you make an hour?"
Dad: "That's none of your business. Why do you ask such a thing?"
Son: "I just wanted to know. Please tell me, how much do you make an hour?"
Dad: "If you must know, I make $100.00 an hour."
Son: "Oh!" (With his head down). "Daddy, may I please borrow $50.00?" The Father was furious.
Dad: "If the only reason you asked that, is so you can buy a silly toy or some other nonsense, then you march yourself straight to your room and go to bed. Think about why you are being so selfish. I work hard everyday for such childish behaviour."
The little boy quietly went to his room and shut the door. After about an hour or so, the man had started to calm down, and started to think:
Dad: "Maybe there was something that he really needed to buy with that $50.00 and he very rarely asked for money." The man went to the door of the little boy's room and opened the door:
Dad: "Are you asleep son?"
Son: "No Daddy, I'm awake."
Dad: "I've been thinking, maybe I was too hard on you earlier. It's been a long day and I took out my aggravation on you. Here's the $50.00 you asked for." The little boy sat straight up smiling:
Son: "Oh thank you Daddy!" Then, reaching under his pillow he pulled out some crumpled up bills. The man saw that the boy aleady had money and started to get angry again. The little boy slowly counted out his money, and then looked up to his Father.
Dad: "Why do you want some more money if you already have some?"
Son: "Because I didn't have enough, but now I do. Daddy, I have $100.00 now. Can I buy an hour of your time? Please come home early tomorrow. I would like to have dinner with you."
The Father was crushed. He put his arms around his little son, and he begged for his forgiveness.
A short reminder for us all to consider. We end up becoming so busy with work and deadlines and projects, that we forget sometimes about the things more important than meeting company deadlines or a weekly meeting... Family. Never should we let time slip through our fingers and deprive not only ourselves but also our family of time spent together. If we were to pass from this earth, the company we work for could quite easily replace us in a matter of days... But the family and friends that are left behind will feel the loss for the rest of their lives. Quite often in this modern life, some pour themselves more into work than to their family. Time is not ever-lasting... Don't let it slip away.
(Just a short note with regards to the images that I use with my poems, they are not my images, I do not own them as have been take from various website. I have chosen them because of their relevance to my poem). :)
