Profile Information

I love writing. I think it's the only thing I'm good at. I have two blogs, but I'd rather not share them as I write under a pseudonym. Let's just say that it's not me that matters, it's what I write that matters.

Writing is an outlet for expression, not only for me, but I believe for others as well. Yeah, sure, I always daydream what it would be like to get published and get a boatload of cash and all that. But now, I have come to the conclusion that life in this world is more than just fame and riches. So, I just want to share my writing with anyone and everyone who care enough to read it. The dough, fame and whatnot? Well, if they ever come my way, that's great. But, if I still work dead-end jobs and at the same time, continue writing my blogs and  more writing projects, I'd be happy as clam. Truly, God-willing.

Schizophonia is my first attempt at writing fiction. Some of it is based on my experiences while I was in Japan between early 2003 and mid-2005. I call myself a high-functioning schizophrenic. Since my episode in Japan, I have had two relapses and am now on medication indefinitely. My aim in writing this novel is to highlight a mental health issue which I think is often stigmatized in the eyes of society. I hope that anyone who comes across my novel via this writing community site or anywhere else I share it, I can somehow convey what it is like to be when one loses touch with reality, which is like what the main character in the novel says, "It is the scariest feeling in the world."
