About
I am a lawyer since 1971. I practiced law in Montreal for 40 years under the name Pilon & Lagace. I am still registered at the Quebec Bar but do not work much anymore. I am happily married. We have 3 girls, C. who work as a translator, S. which is a lawyer and E who is a teacher like her mother. I like to write. Always did. We were my wife and I in St-Pete, FL for 7 weeks this winter and participated in a writer workshop while we were there. It was fun. And stimulating since it got me to produce four short stories in the english language. That was a first since all my previous writing has been in french. What I write is a daily journal, comments on actuality mostly published on the net or my Facebook account and short stories. The problem of all would be writers, as I see it, is the readership which we don't have, and objective feedback. What is one's work worth? Will somebody who is not family or friend want to read your stuff just for the fun of it? That is the question, isn't it? So, Here I am. I will try this and see what happens. jlagace1@bell.net
