Profile Information

I can't remember a time when I haven't wanted to be a writer. Since I was a child and I started reading Roald Dahl books, I knew that I wanted nothing more than to do what he did: to let loose all the worlds in my imagination; to enchant, fascinate and frighten anyone who reads the pages I've poured everything in to. One day I decided to show somebody a story I'd written, and to my surprise, they liked it. My dream is to be a professional writer and to be as good at my career as my favourite writers who include Stephen King, Albert Camus, Graham Greene.

The times I loved most at school were English lessons, especially those where I got to write my own stories. I even won an award for my short stories when I was 13 years old. Over the years when I've seen a moment, no matter how brief, when I could write I've taken it. I would put together sketches for my drama class at school, and aged 15 I got myself involved with writing and directing sketch shows with The Lytton Players based in Stevenage, including Shadows, Animal Crackers and The Thwarting of Baron Bolligrew; all of which received excellent reviews. Over the seven years I was a member of the society, I often found myself taking the lead in shaping improvisations during workshops and rehearsals. Through The Lytton Players I became part of a film crew for a local project: All Change.

I also live with my gorgeous wife and baby girl.
