Profile Information

My mum had been expecting twins. She had already chosen their names: Felix and Felicia. So everyone was stunned when only a tiny baby girl came out instead. I was accepted, though, and named Joy because i was sort of a comfort to my parents; my eldest sister had just died of leukemia at age six.

I suffered extreme low self-esteem growing up so i never noticed my wiring talent. Even when i used to just write short stories and hide them in this rectangular box i fell in love with. My family and i travelled to Mauritania when i was 12. I hid the box in my parents' room because i thought it will be safe there. I was wrong. We returned 4 years later and i still can't find my priceless box. I forgot about writing after that. The only thing was story ideas flooded my mind. I usually narrated them to my closet friends and they seemed to like it. They told me to "write them down". i sort of resumed writing again because i felt incomplete whenever i was anywhere without a pen/pencil and piece of paper to scripple down ideas. I just felt handicapped without them and i still do.

I still struggle with finishing stories i start writing because another idea pops into my head halfway through so i have this terrible habit of writing 6,8 stories at the same time. TERRIBLE!

I want to be a medical doctor. Yes, i can see myself still passionate about helping the sick after 60, 100 years (ha ha) but i can also see myself as an accomplished writer and i can't wait to see both deams come true.

My picture summarize everything else about me.

Okay, i tried to find a good photo of me but.... so I'll upload it later. :)
