Profile Information

My name is Kaitlyn. It doesn't rhyme with anything...or lamp, or coffe. Bad jokes aside, I'm a student at the best university in the whole world: Purdue!  I am studying English Education not because it is considered an "easy major", or because I want to make tons and tons of money once I graduate and become a teacher, but because I've always wanted to be a teacher. When I was little, Mommy used to bring home stuff from her classroom, and little Kaitlyn would teach reluctant little Carley during all hours of summer vacation. Needless to say, my sister and I were not very close friends until I realized how obnoxious I was being by holding summer classes during all hours of the day. Once half days were created in Miss Bud's classroom, order was restored to the sisterhood, more or less.

I love to write and hope that you find some enjoyment from reading my work! Though most people find me to be an obnoxiously happy person, some of the themes that I most enjoy writing about include emotional pain, heartbreak, and the relationship between mothers and daughters.
