My first ghost story!
I've started on my new short story entitled, "The Shadow", my first ghost story. After researching ghosts, and the years of watching various paranormal films, I decided to write a ghost story based on my own perspective of what they could be, and if you love a good scary story, or movie like I do, I hope to satisfy the horror hunger of those who enjoy being scared.

My Dad was an inspiration in my life, growing up watching him sketching, oil painting, writing short stories, composing and playing all genre's of music on the piano. He was a choreographer, dance instructor, a piano teacher and an English and French teacher. Art’s always been an influence in my life, designing illustrations for textbooks and instructional manuals for farm products, writing stories, illustrating and publishing my own children’s book, and working with variable hardwoods. Each "Reflections in Life" wood artwork display is never duplicated, and is guaranteed with a certificate number of authenticity, signed and dated.
At an early age, I received private art lessons from a locally famous artist, who was a friend of my Dad’s. I, also performed on stage for several years, dancing from the age of 6 to10 yrs. old under my Dad’s instructions. As a teenager, I enjoyed sketching trees in black ink, charcoal rubbings on gravestones, along with water and oil painting. After going to college for illustration and drafting, I worked several years drawing exploded views of newly invented farm implement equipment and engines for a couple farm manufacturers. I started my own illustration / advertising business out of my home doing college textbook illustrations for several publishers along with marketing umbrella promotions and designing logo’s. In 2006, I had 2 children’s stories published in soft cover and hardback. Once you read the 1st story “I Wish I Could Fly.” “The Lonely Caterpillar” you flip it over to read the 2nd story, the sequel “I Can Fly!” “The Lonely Butterfly”. It was published in Colorado and recently the publisher was purchased by another company, which I haven't decided to publish with yet.
My wife, Linda and I now live near Orlando, Florida in a small community, called Debary and we have 3 daughters, with 2 daughters and 4 grandkids living in Gibson City, Illinois, and our youngest daughter in Jacksonville, FL. For the past 25 years I've worked as a business developer, running a family entertainment store (video & audio rentals and sales, a tanning salon and products, TKO Rentals, a rent-to-own business). Most recently owned my own recruiitng business, called "OCSolutions", recruiting Application Engineers for one of the largest indutrial bearing manufacturers, in the world, and sales reps for steel distributors.
After the economy collapse in 2007, I retired from recruiting and decided to return to my passion of woodworking and writing again. Early in December, 2015, I started and finished 2 short stories in 3 days. Since then, I've written, and continue to write short stories, based on my unique perspective view to the question, What if?
