Profile Information

My dearest readers and visitors, I would like to tell you that my fourth and hopefully last college year has started and with it came my busy scheduel that I so love, which is why I would not be able to be "on" most of the time. Actually, I will be "on" on Thursdays and Fridays. The rest is as they say is history. However I would love it if you continue reading my stuff and leaving all the reading requests you want :)    I wish I could get more feedbacks, positive or negative. I love to communicate and I like knowing what is liked and disliked about my works :) so don't be shy, and DON'T be lazy :D I don't care how short or long it may be ;)    To be honest I am tired of the part when I am asked to give summery about myself or my life... so instead of jotting down the boring, flat information about me , hobbies, friends, etc.. I would like to tell all who shall view my account about why I love writing so.

I started when I had finished reading New Moon, my first English novel, followed by Web of Love for Mary Ballough (an author I never knew quite how to say her last name. I sounded retarded every time I gave it a try) I was fascinated by the way the words weaved images in my head, how it enriched my perception in the real world when I wasn't locked inside the world of a book.  Since then, every thing I saw or felt -- may that be a particular scene in a movie or a group of children rombing in the street or the way a handsome guy or pretty girl walked or talked-- I almost always find myself wondering how would that be put in words, what are the words that would express that look, or gesture best. I now even know whether a movie was based on a novel or not... instinctively.

There, that is so much better than writing about ME... who wants to know about THAT anyway? Love is a word of very few letters in every language. Love is a simple word full of so many wonderful meaning. It brings joy and light. It shines with happiness and life. It sometimes comes with pain and aches in places we did not even know existed untill they got pained. It comforts in a friend's soothing touch and wipes tears with a mother's smile. It revives a weary old soul with a true love's kiss. And of course it inspires to no end. BUT to write about it, that would be a huge, gross injustice. Dear Bullies, That boy you punched in the hall today; committed suicide a few minutes ago. That girl you called a slut in class today; she's a virgin. That boy you called lame; has to work every night to support his family. That girl you pushed down the other day; is already being abused at home. You think you know them. Guess what, you don't. Copy and Paste this to your profile if you are against the mean bullying. I bet 99% of you wont. Sorry, my dearest friends and readers. I am going through some exams in college these days and, since it's Ramadan, time just gets lost in, well, time. It is strange, really. Therefore, I will dedicate some serious time to studying for a couple of days, and, insha'Allah by Monday all will return to its "rightful" course. Don't give up on me, though. Thanks for your support. kisses ;)

It confuses me and sometimes even annoys me when a certain story takes place somewhere I don't know what it is like, unless of course the authur gave quite the enthralling, hooking describtion of the place. Other than that it is just confuseing, not being able to imagine the scene of teh story, so I came up with something. Since there is only mountains, deserts, forests, rivers, seas and lakes and countries out there that may differs according to geografical positions, then it doesn't really matter where the story takes place. Therefore, I made up Isola Smeralda (Emerald Island) a fertile island for my imagination. Because I need forests and rivers and mountains, lots of rain and snow. Yes of course in Egypt we have river and mountains, but they are just not enough for me (we sure as hell don't have enough rain and no snow whatsoever) however you should look out for a novel that is set in Egypt entirely.  I combine the writer's passion and real thoughts with the imaginary land that embraces this creativity, because we, authors, need to be comfortable while writing to get the reader into the events :) And people do like the lands of fantasy like Lord of the Rings, Hoguarts and the like, so I see that it is a pretty conveniet mix ;)
