Profile Information

Lauretta Kehoe has loved reading from the time she was a little girl.   She also loved to draw and paint, learning from her father who was a commercial artist.  She studied art at Lane Technical High School and The American Academy of Art in Chicago.  But she also loved writing, producing several fan magazines with her original art and stories for The American Hobbit Association and The Chronicles of Amber Fan Club.  In 1989, Lauretta went through a divorce and put her talents aside while she and her two children, Katharine and James healed.

Then in 1992, she met Michael Kehoe, her creative and life soul mate.  Michael had three children, Catherine, Michael and Robert.  Michael was a talented comedian having won state championship in Illinois on the Lake Park High School Speech Team, then went on to perform at several comedy clubs around the Chicago area.

In 2002, the couple moved to Las Vegas where Lauretta works as a paralegal for a major casino company and Michael works for a time share company.  Michael has resumed his comedy, in addition to starting his career in acting, appearing in his first film.  Michael has developed a comedy act where he plays an old Elvis.

Together, the Kehoes have resumed their creativity co-authoring "A Dream of Dragons," an urban fantasy/paranormal novel that is rich with romance, adventure and infused with Michael's comedy.  Two sequels are also near completion which will carry on the story of Henry Williford, the redhead freelance artist from Venice, Florida and his love, Anne, the mysterious girl who came into his life in the novel.  Those who have read the book have fallen in love with both and travelled with them through happy and very dark times to the thrilling climax of the book. Lauretta and Michael hope  to be able to act and write full time at some point and discover new worlds together in the creative realms.
