My name is Maddie. I joined this site when I was 11 because I really loved to write. It's now almost 5 years later, and that passion might have dimmed, but the ideas haven't. If you do end up skimming through my pieces, you'll notice that most of my works are unfinished. I doubt they'll ever be completed, but that doesn't bother me. My philosophy is when an idea captures you, run with it as far and hard as you can before something else steals your attention. Never look back, right? It's also called being lazy, or unimaginative, but that's enough for me right now.
I would invite you all to message me any pieces of writing that you'd like me to look over, like I used to, but I really only access this site a few times a year. It would be a let down for you, and I'm sorry I can't be there to support you all in your writing endeavours, but I wish you the best of luck, all the same.
Anyway, thank you for checking out my page and reading what I have to say. I am also grateful for any feedback on my writing, whether it be highly positive or detrimentally, scarringly negative. Throw it at me. I will be your pillow.
Thank you for your time.
P.S. When my English
teacher was discussing the complications in classifying works of
literature into genres, she coined this quote, which I would
really love to share:
"Genre is fluid as time is transient."
Have a great day.
