Let me make one thing clear. Maria is not my real name. It is a pen name. If ever I get published it will be under that name, that's why I'm using it.
Other than that I open for reading requests. I tend to write long responses to what I read but anyone who asks will probably already know that. Before requesting that i read what you have first ask yourself if you are content with what you have written. If you are don't ask me to read it unless you think I'll like it and because I've posted very little about what I like you shouldn't really know yet. The reason I want to know is I'm not going to waist my time working on something that isn't going to be changed. If you ask me to read i will not leave a comment that just says, "this was great". I will rip apart what ever it is you have and then try and make it better. That's not to say that you can't like what you have written and that I'll never say a nice word. I give credit where credit is due. I also believe that it is possible to like what you've written and yet want to improve upon it.
I do ask that if you request a reading of your work that you at least try to read mine. Yes, I know it's long, if that's problem leave a comment on this page if you think it should be shorter. If it's just too boring put that with the actual work. As far as getting comments I feel the same way as when giving them. If you just want to say that you liked it theres a feature for that. If you leave a comment to say you like something please explain why. Also I don't expect those who read my work to pick up on spelling and grammar and the like. If it's so bad you can't read it yell at me to fix it. Or if you just want to point it out that's fine too. What I'm looking for is opinions on the actually content.
Right now I'm only working on one project so I'm not interested in any contests. Not to say I never want to participate nows just not the time.
Lats thing: NaNoWriMo NaNoWriMo is the abbreviation for National Novel Writing Month. It's every November. It's amazingly fun. the goal is to writ 50,000 words in the month of November. That's about 1667 words every day. That's a little over two pages with standard MLA formating. For more information you can check out their site. Just google it.
