I enjoy writing haiku as a hobby, though I would like to publish my work through contests, journals, literary magazines, etc. I grew up in Long Island, New York, and the haiku that I create is "slice of life" haiku that attempts to capture the beauty in the ordinary, everyday life in "the city" and its suburbs.
