Defeat - the final edit.

Those who have been following my journey as a writer - some since 2008 - will be aware of the problems I have faced; the countless expulsion from writers' sites, and the curious phenomena surrounding the publication of my writing, with the most recent example being the sabotage of Privacy Anonymity and other Meaningless Words on this site. Before I finally deleted the work, only a fraction of the book could be read, and the software Booksie employs to prevent work from being copied did not function, so anyone would have been able to copy my writing. I could not edit the work. The field did not contain any text.

Booksie admin replied to my concerns;

'Something you pasted into the box broke the page. We're looking into it.'

All I know is it was not me. I did not edit the work for some time - before the phenomenon I have described arose. I did not feel comfortable leaving the work on the site in the condition it was in, so I deleted it.

I have created accounts on other writers' sites, such as Wattpad, but I have been unable to publish my writing; someone or something has prevented me from doing so. Once, my books were hosted on Amazon, for sale as ebooks, but increasing evidence of unusual activity there encouraged me to remove them.

The power of those attempting to silence me is overwhelming, and I am forced to concede. Animosity has outweighed encouragement tenfold, and I do not have the strength I once had that allowed my solitary advance. I will leave my novellas here, on Booksie. Although the novellas may be enjoyed independently, they are only panels removed from my greater work - Privacy, Anonymity and other Meaningless Words - and therefore will not have the impact I have hoped for. If all avenues of publication become exhausted, perhaps Privacy Anonymity and other Meaningless Words will be published at some point in the future, for every controversial work enjoys publication beyond the era of its unacceptability.

Those who read Privacy Anonymity and other Meaningless Words before its sabotage may be eagerly anticipating my next work - in which I hoped to express myself as the President of the World. Sadly, I will be unable to fulfill this position. I will write a letter of resignation - or of decline, considering I did not spend a day in office - and publish it here on Booksie.

News update; I have began to write it. You will find it on my portfolio page.

Yours
