I am a 36 year old Hospital Security Officer, former Private/Insurance Investigator, arm-chair criminologist, pulp fiction enthusiest and B-movie aficiando. I am new to writing short fiction but have been writing poetry since my angsty teen years. Poetry is such a powerful art form because it allows one to communicate abstract thoughts and feelings in a tangible way. Anyone that has ever been in love, or lust, or suffered, or had any pang of emotion is halfway to becoming a poet. A good poem is the 140 character tweet of the literary universe. I welcome any feedback with regards to my work.
