Sorry :/

You guys might have noticed that most of my writing has been deleted.

The reason for this is that I haven't felt great lately. I feel like my mental health has been going downhill recently. It's probably caused by not having my friends around and finding out that people I thought were my friends actually weren't. But back to the story.

Don't see this as an omen of me leaving Booksie. I love the community and without it I wouldn't have a way to communicate with people like Labyrinth Black and Hanorbi and others. This is more of a fresh start because the majority of my stories featured characters with a non-existent mental health. I don't want to read back those stories and think about myself as someone who posted triggering content. I know it now sounds like I'm a bit of a hypocrite because A Dark Summer Night is still online and running. The reason for this is actually that it's the first ever contest story I've felt proud of. Sort of an achievement, one could say ^^

I'm thinking of finally writing a third part to the Ascending from Hell series. I'm not sure whether or not I can actually do that and produce something decent, since I haven't really written in the last year or so.

OMG! There's something new! I've started a new novel (I'm kind of scared since I've never finished a novel before) called Among The Stars. For the summary, check out the novel. Currently only the first couple of chapters are up, but I'm aiming to publish a new chapter at least every month (as in, the absolute minimum). I want to aim higher, but university is busy lately and I don't want to let anyone down. Hope you'll enjoy ^^ And honest feedback is always appreciated. I'm aiming to upload one chapter every month on the twentieth.

I want to apologize for not posting any new chapters in 2018. I am really struggling with my mental health and it's gotten to a point where I basically have a mental breakdown once a day. I'm trying to keep fighting, but it's getting more and more difficult every day. I will keep fighting, but it takes much more effort during the bad days and it now just happens to be a lot of bad days in a row. Sorry again. I'll try to write new chapters and post them but I cannot make any promises.

Currently I am not as active on Booksie anymore due to school and other stuff. I'll log in occasionally to check what's going on around here and I'll try to find the time to read some stuff, but since I don't have too much time on my hands it'll take long to read and comment. Sorry :/

Profile Information

Currently reading outside of booksie:

Mostly Harmless by Douglas Adams

About me:

My name is Sanne and I'm just a /nineteen/ year old girl who likes to write, although I suck at it. I identify as Bi / Pan, which means I can be attracted to people regardless of gender. I tend to use Bi more often, though, since more people know what that means.

You may have already noticed that my English can be odd sometimes. This is because English isn't my native language, since I'm from the Netherlands.

Unlike others here on Booksie I'm not aiming to get published. Not only because I see writing as a hobby, but also because I don't really want loads of people to know me :) I hate being the center of attention and would prefer to just disappear into the surroundings. /YAY/

I love to spend the majority of my spare time with listening to music and gaming, although gaming is limited to my PS3. My PC sucks so that is quite annoying... The bands I listen to the most are Green Day, Placebo, Blood Red Shoes, Fall Out Boy, Bring Me The Horizon and Panic! At The Disco. Recently I've also been listening to Sleeping With Sirens.

If there's anything else you'd like to know about me just send me a Quickee or an E-Mail.

Check out these people:

SGAuthor is an amazing writer and an awesome friend. I have to admit that I haven't read all her novels in entirety, but I do aim to do so very soon. Her novel Castles In The Sky is too awesome and her SciFi novels of Silvia Grey are also out of this world.

D A Draven is a great author and his poetic style always keeps you thinking. It might not be the easiest to read, but reading any of his works gives you a reward through the special and unique style in which they are written. His Anastasia stories were amazing, although he has deleted them from Booksie. But thankfully there is still enough of his writing left to enjoy, one of which being his collaboration novel Can You Hear The Madness Calling?

Labyrinth Black is an awesome person. Some of their stories are personal, others are FanFictions etc. There is just too much to all mention here. So if you're a potterhead I suggest you check out their novel Booksie Goes To Hogwarts. And if you're not just check out their portfolio because there will definitely be something in there of your interest.

Jonathan DeLacuso hasn't really been on Booksie lately. He especially writes Horror stories, but he sometimes writes Fantasy or SciFi. His L'art series is probably one of my favorite series of all of Booksie and his Fantasy story The Final One is also a must read.

Vellan Shadow is quite a mystery on Booksie. He comes and goes, but this Dutch guy is awesome. A bit gruesome, maybe, but he, like his writing, can always bring a smile on your face. His Fantasy novel Shadow Pieces is great and unlike some of his other stories (due to some triggering content) accessible to the masses.

You should seriously check these people out because they are not only great writers, but also amazing people to talk to.
