Biography Milica Blagojevic-Jankovic is a Serbian bestselling writer. She was born on 26 November 1971, in Kragujevac. Already, when she was a secondary school girl, she was showing literary affinities. He studied medicine and because of material difficulty she got up her study. In the meantime she went in for literary work when she showed up success through publishing of her works in many of magazines and journals and many of those short stories are translated in English. She got positive critics and recognitions from many of the important literary critics and the bearers of culture. The confirmation about taste of the literary critics and the readers covers up as well as number of copies printed are sold. Her story, A Blind Mirror (Slepo ogledalo), won a second prize at the theatre of satire "Žikišon", held in the town of Paracin in 2005. She is included with her stories: An Idle talk, (Prazna prica) is included in the anthology of short stories The Shortest Stories of 2004 (Najkrace price 2004) (Alma, Belgrade 2005), in a book Anthology of the shortest unpublished stories of a magazine "Act" (Akt, Valjevo 2005), in a collection of prose & poems A voice has awoken (Probudi se glas) (Dom kulture, Knjaževac 2005), as well as in a book The Doors of My Story (Vrata moje priče) (Alma, Belgrade 2005). Ms Jankovic published a socio-psychological novel Instinct (Instinkt), (Yugoslavian Association of Authors, Belgrade 2004 and Legenda, Cacak 2006, II edition). In Serbian she has published a collection of stories A Female Thief of Time (Kradljivica vremena) (Legenda, Cacak 2009). She is the author of the novels: She is the Marked (Obelezena), (Dobra knjiga, Belgrade 2005 and Legenda, Cacak 2008, III edition), A Street Zebra (Ulicna zebra), (Editor/Alnari, Belgrade 2006 and Legenda, Cacak 2008. II edition), Hot Flesh (Vrelo meso), (Legenda, Cacak 2007), Marriage for lunch (Brak za ručak), (Pan kjiga, Novi Sad 2009), An oasis in the clouds of love (Oaza u oblacima ljubavi)(Harizma, Pancevo 2011) and At the step of Eve threshold (Na korak od Evinog praga) (Milica Blagojeic-Jankovic & Stanko Holcer) (Smart studio, Beograd 2013). Serbian edition of some of her novels are published as e-books (New look entertainment doo), (Novi Sad 2013). Her eighth novel The Notch has been translated into English. Milica Blagojević-Janković is known for hers choise of the theme and the style of writing that is separated her from cliches of literary workshops. She is the author of many novels that they saw the light of the day, and today is read, because the theme that says never lose its importance. She is a member of the Yugoslavian Association of Authors. She is married, a mother of two children and lives in her own dreams more than it's possible. She lives in Belgrade with her husband and a child of her.
