To my dear Page Viewer,

As you've probably noticed, I've deleted all of my previous work. In light of what happened with GothicTinkerBella, who had her story copied and republished on a different online site as someone else's work, my worst fears about only posting have been confirmed; therefore, in order to protect my future investments, I have removed what I believe is some of my better work, which I had published on this site. Thank you to everyone who supported me, and I hope that one day you'll come across a book of my poetry and enjoy it just as much as you have now.

My name is Myrenda as far as the internet community is concerned. I plan to make it my pen name one day if I ever do reach the distant dream of "rich and famous" or the equally distant dream of "published". I'm fourteen years old going on thirty three and six at the same time. I can be both very mature and grown up and very immature and random at the same time. It's a skill that I've learned to master over the years. Unfortunately my current living status includes one house and six people located on the buckle of the Bible Belt, South Carolina. I've lived in this state a little over a year now, and if it weren't for some of the very good friends that I've made here I would have had no distraction for my pure hatred of this forsaken state. My number one goal in life is to make it north of the Mason-Dixon Line preferably somewhere near New York City, but I'd almost settle for anywhere in the northeast at this point. I love writing, reading, acting, listening and playing music. I've been writing in general since I was about three, but I really developed a love for poetry about four years ago when I wrote my first poem that I could stand reading once I had written it. Since then I've started writing whenever I got inspiration, and as I get older I've started finding inspiration in more and more ways, giving me more and more things to write about. Likewise I've been reading for an awfully long time. I love fiction, especially fantasies involving vampires, werewolves, and other mythical creatures. Yes, I am one of those girls who is in love with the Twilight series and Edward Cullen. Acting I picked up in the ninth grade when the theatre department at my Georgia high school held an open audition for the Christmas play, and I seriously had one of those moments when I heard the announcement and knew that I must audition. Luckily I made the cast, and acting hasn't left my system since. As for music, I've been in the school band for five years. I play the flute, piccolo, clarinet, and I'm learning the piano. I honestly have no musical talent. I've practiced my heart out for these five years to become as good as I am, and I am very thankful for it. Mostly I listen to rock and alternative music in my spare time. Unfortunately, that only means my spare time near a computer or when I have my iPod because South Carolina, along with being devoid of almost any intelligent people who don't look to a book to rule their lives, also lacks decent radio stations. Music is just another reason why I need to get away from here. I despise country music, also a big problem here. Some of my favorite bands are The Goo Goo Dolls, Seether, Sublime, Boys Like Girls, Capitol Risk, Three Days Grace, and Blink-182 among many others. I have absolutely no idea what I want to do with myself in the future. Some career involving writing would be nice, but I'm really not sure which career I will choose. I'm looking to go to college to figure out where I'm headed in life. Regardless, I write mostly poetry, a lot of which is a teenage girl's pissing and moaning over boys. However, I've been told that I make my complaining sound pretty, so I hope that you will read and enjoy.

Sincerely Yours, Myrenda
