Missing words and lines on my content.

I don't understand what is going on with the things I post. I check themm twice before pushing the publish button to make sure it is correct. Twice now, I have come back and lines and words have been missing. Can someone tell me what is going on?

Profile Information

First, thank you for taking time to read my profile page.

I have been writing my whole life. Lord knows I have a file cabinet that is full of old journals that span back to my childhood. I would definitely call myself a writer. I am also an artist and illustrate my books. On the side, I took a copy edit course a few years ago and do edit work for other writers and for the college students.

Some of my projects over the years have been and some still are....

The Poetry ~ I have been writing poetry for as long as I can remember. I've written deep dark poems, humorous poems, coded poems. Some of them are still on this site under one of the pen names I have written under.

Soapbox Moments ~ This was my first organized body of work. It was designed as a legacy I meant to leave behind for my grand daughters, Alexandria and Madison. It is a sweet humorous collection of true stories about our family. I really enjoyed writing the Soapbox Moments and often call it, "my saving grace." I wrote at it at time when things were so bad in my life. I was in an abusive relationship and my health took a scary turn for the worst. I started the Soapbox Moments as a means of dealing with the anxiety that was ever present at the time. Some of those stories are also published here on this site and in other publications. Because my girls are growing and many years have passed since the original Soapbox Moments, there is now a Soapbox Moments II.

The Yoretime Spiral ~ One day the Soapbox Moments stories dried up inside me while living in the hell I lived in while writing it. I was devastated, broken. What would I do now to keep the anxious thoughts at bay? I was lying in bed that same night when out of nowhere I sat up, grabbed my sketch pad and drew a blush pink palace with a peasant girl queen in it.....thus the fairytale of the Yoretime Spiral began. I love the Spiral. It honors and brings whimiscal beauty to every single person and thing that I have loved in my life. It is also full of sweet secrets that only my grand daughters get. The art work for the Spiral is some of the best that I have ever done. I have a very wise counselor who I questioned about how it was that I created such a beautiful body of work in the darkest time of my life. She said, "You needed beauty and light so you created it." Some of those stories are still here on this site. As time has gone on with the Spiral, it has become more organized, more colorful, and more closely edited.

And then there was...the auto-biographical book Buchtel Haunting Me aka A Phoenix in the Ashes. This is a book that is in print nowhere as I am still working on it. I've been told by the few that have read it that it's a go. This book deals with the emotional and sensitive matter of domestic abuse and living in a world where the demon is very real. It's a good story, but it's a hard write. It started out as a 13 page manuscript and has grown into a very organized 14 chapter book. I'm not sure what will become of this book when I do finish it. It's been a long emotional road with this one. I have been advised that I need to place teasers out for it so I am thinking that at some point, I'll publish some part of it here.

Tattle Tails ~ This is book is a sweet book that tells the stories of the pets that I have had throughout my life. It is at this point still in rough draft form and needs a lot of work. However, it's sweet, easy, and honoring so it currently is on deck to be worked on.

Lastly, I write under the name that was given to me by my adoptive mother. That name is Jett. And I do this as an honor to her for encouraging all the writing on her work pads and for being the one person that handed me a box of pastels as a child and told me to color outside the lines!

The other bodies of work on this site that belong to me are under these pen names....Old BallBall. The Serious Mysterious Madame, Madame Mad Hatter.
