Profile Information

My name is Paul, I'm 25 and am currently unemployed, despite the fact that I graduated from university in 2005 with a 2.1 in Biomedical Science.

I've always been a big reader starting with R.Dahl as a child and leading into fantasy. I fell out of raeding at around 14 thanks to the purchase of a family PC and my hours were thus divided between gaming and underage drinking in bus shelters (ah those halycon days!)

It was during university that I started reading again though this time I was deep into science fiction delighting in the works of A.C.Clarke, R.Matheson, F.Pohl and many others.

In recent years I have drifted back into fantasy books and spend my time mostly reading (and avidly collecting) books set in the Forgotten Realms (a dungeons and dragons game setting).

My writing was quite prolific when I was younger and I wrote quite a few small books and even scripts. Sadly I destroyed them in a fit of pre-adolescent rage and couldn't now say if they were any good. Now I have started getting the urge to write again and find it quite frustrating as I can't find the words and then become distracted by the TV and other mind wasting devices.

I'm pretty ordinary, with an interest in science, ancient history (particularly Roman) and football. I'm also very much single so on the lookout for a 'muse'!

Anyway that's quite a bit of waffle now, so I'll leave it at that! Good Day!
