Profile Information

I guess you could say I was born with a pencil in one hand and the words "Fine Artist" tattooed onto my forehead. I was a weird kid, and I always drew pictures. Lots of pictures. When I found out books were written by people. I knew I wanted to be an author.

I wrote my first short story in third grade and well, it was crap to say the least, but as time went by, my stories became more and more detailed and much better.

Half if not all of the characters I write about originated in a short story my friend Anna and I wrote in the ninth grade. Celia Dupoint from Welcome to the New World and a very different version Darkkaris Fank from Star Gazer both originated in this short story, which just so happened to be around seventeen pages long. On top of that, we had to read it in front of the class, and even though by the end of it people had fallen asleep, I knew we had done our duty and written the best short story we could. It helped that we made an A+.

I guess the best way to describe my writing style in dry and detailed. I don't use much dialogue, and love describing setting.

Each of my characters ar a part of me, but mostly Roslyn from Star Gazer.  I made her up in a very difficult time in my life. I am more proud of that story than about anything though, because it is the first one I truly have stuck with. I actually planned it out for over a year before I ever started writing, and I can also say I came up with it during the same ninth grade English Class. Funny thing is, the line that startd the entire topic was "Alien life is one hundred percent inevitable-- or at least that's what I told myself." I never used that line. It just helped me through it.

Anyways, please, please, please read some of my work( Preferably Star Gazer or The Origin of Amelia Argo), leave a comment with some constructive criticism, etc.! I am sixteen and need as much help as I can get!
