'Twelve Days', an anthology-cum-novel set in and around Amber Valley in Derbyshire, will be published in the summer of 2016.
Its backdrop is the popular seasonal song, 'The Twelve Days of Christmas', and each chapter takes the form of one of the verses.
That said, the stories themselves bear no relation to the text of the song, and cover several very different writing genres.
Take a sneak preivew on my website at this address:
I'm 64 this year, and have been an accountant for longer than I care to remember. Worked in lots of trades (building, printing, textles, hotel bookings, power utilities, plastics, food and retail).
I've now got the job that fell off the Christmas tree and it'll last me until retirement..............that's when the writing will come in handy if I can ever get published.
I've been married for 39 years, and my wife and I have two children (34 & 25), and NO MORTGAGE so the sub-prime shocker will just pass us by like a ship in the night.
