no more reading requests, all the more feedback
enjoy booksie from the Block
You read other people's stuff and they read yours. It's that simple.
Reading requests are always open, but I may not get to them for a very long time... I alternate between super procrastination and super productivity :P
CRITIQUE IS VERY WELCOME!!!! ^-^
And, of course, if I comment on your work, it's because I think it's worth the read. If I leave critique, I'm not trying to hurt your feelings or be mean. They're suggestions on how to make yourself better. If I don't like a story, I don't comment or like it. It's that simple :)
Sooooo, about me? I love writing, be it Hans' style (Solo) or with my best friend in the ever lovin' world. I focus on writing original stories (I've got about four I've working on), but I've got like, ten fanfics I'm working on as side-projects. My magnum opus, an original story by the name of Something Else (for the moment, at least), is almost 28,600 words as of right now (and growing)... however, I'm still working on it, so be patient. (And please, if you notice mistakes, LET ME KNOW so I can fix them!)
Oh, music. Music is great. Music is life. I'm in the marching and concert band--*alto sax*--but I absolutely love just about every genre, from Enya to Rihanna to Skrillex to Family Force 5 :)
Check out my most, MOST favorite authors on Booksie:
(I'll add little summary things later to let you know what it's about)
Spirit Blossom: (Now complete) Royal is a pretty bad-ass dude... But that doesn't mean he has no feelings; he just hides them away from everyone... Especially his best friend, whom he may or not have a raging crush on. There's just one problem: she's engaged to someone else.
Awakened Prince: Vampire Prince Hakeem has been sleeping for centuries... What happens when he's woken up by a group of teenagers? How's he going to react to life in the twentieth century? (Extremely funny stuff, that's what!)
Dress Code: In this dystopian novel, Solidite Raven lives in a world in which government dictates everything in their citizens' lives, including where they live and whom they marry. Sol assumes that she will be paired with Tristan, her best friend in the whole village, but instead she's chosen someone else--someone she's never even met. She's confused as to why they chose him instead of Tristan, but there must be a reason--they always do what's best for their people... otherwise they'd have an uprising.
Emental: Necrosse, an alien soldier, is given the task of unleashing a super-creepy mind-controlling disease known as Hellific, as well as locating and awakening one of the most powerful beings in the world. A group of super-powered teens are about the only thing that stands in his way, but don't think he's got this one in the bag...
Unwanted Bride: Charlotte is a strong-willed, independent young woman living in the 15th century. Her father, a greedy, evil man, forces her to make everyone believe that she, as well as being blind, is mentally unstable to avoid marrying her off. However, he changes his mind when he arranges her an advantageous marriage to a Scotsman. Though neither of them wants to be saddled with each other, they come to admire, maybe even love one another... but her father changes his mind and sets his mind to tearing them apart.
