I have been an avid reader since I was in primary school. I soon got bored of the tiny, paper back books (Biff, Chip and the Magic Key populated the shelves of my school library). Those first stories just weren't long enough. I could read them too quickly because nothing excited really happened in them. But at home, I started to collect the Roald Dahl magasines and my Nan gave me the books. They were like magic or happy pills or a combination of both! It was an addiction. I cant remember when I didn't have a story near by to pick up. I was very anti-social at times. I had Midnight by Jacqueline Wilson glued to my hand for two days straight until I finished it , after that, my mum refused to buy another book and instead got me a library card. When I was eight, I took a compulsory reading test at school and my reading age was twelve. It was at this point I started calling reading my hobby.
My dad now works for WHSmith and fuels my intreset in books. I now want to put my vivid imagination to good use and start writing some books of my own. Thankyou for taking the time to read my page and hopefully you will pay the same attention to my stories!
Thank you so much for your kind,
encouraging words and constructive criticism!
I never thought that i would get feedback so quickly and that people would want to actively tell me that they enjoy my writing and would like more.
I am still young though and only human so again i must really thank you for helping to make my story telling better.
However, I hope you will understand and have patience. Those first two chapters were really just flashes from my head, i still need to sit down and plan out a plot. I will definitely be doing this soon as those who have read it seem to like the characters that I have introduced (again, many thanks!).
Until the next time I write down the ramblings in my head, Goodbye!
