Profile Information

Hi, I'm the Rainbow Rider. My poetry may not be fantastic or the best thing of this century, but to me it makes sense. But then, poetry's not supposed to make sense; its supposed to be wild and crazy and free. I started writing when I was younger, its my outlet for all the rage and pain and love. All my poems are different, some i cant even call poems, really. I dont write all the time, it comes in bursts: write 4 poems in a week and then for the next month I cant write anything. The cycle repeats itself over and over. I'd like to have my poems published (my books too, if I ever get them finished) because not only are they about me they're about other people: my dad, my brother, my animals and everything else is there somewhere............maybe not yet but it will be.

Change. Its here, its coming, its planning on swallowing you down whole without even some A1 sauce to give you some spice. Do you know when its coming for you?

I'm just a petal on the water, floating by soft as smoke wishing I could stop but knowing that to do that would mean death. Never will I be afraid of death......I will just be afraid of living. It's quite a twist, but how often do you compare your life with that of mine? or with your lovers? or with that person beside you you dont really know or see? Too bad, too bad. There's not enough time in the world for all the comparing and we shorten it even more when we don't even stop to see through the smoke. Softly, softly, we're slowly softly dying.
