Profile Information

I'm originally from TV Tropes, my user name is the same as the one here: Red-P, except that there's a hyphen.

I'm currently a student waiting to enter a music school this mid-July. 'Work in progress'-state for my upcoming story Red Portrait. I have other works in the planning stages, but I'll hold them back for now. If anyone is knowledgeable about situations and customs happening during the Meiji Era in Japan, feel free to PM me.

For me to know and for you to find out my age and gender. Though my gender is a giveaway, heh.

I like practising on my piano, surfing the net in my free time, cycling, reading books that I like, listening to music (They helped me to 'cure' my writer's block) and indulge in various indoor activities.

Red Portrait takes place during 19th Century Japan (Meiji Era, from 23rd October 1868 to 30 July 1912), where drastic changes and westernization takes place. Red Portrait starts in March 1875 and our heroine Kanae is job-hunting. She hopes that she can find some work to pay off her debts left by her late foster mother Kaede. With troubles and political chaos stirring in the country, she find herself in a hopeless situation. But when she heard that several children and women has gone missing over a period of days, she started investigating the case. Her only way: Enter the secretive and mystic vampire society hidden for centuries...

Left on Sanity, follows our protagonist Lindy who has a really bad case of anger issues. (Which affected her studies. After being expelled from elementary school for beating her teacher up using a wooden ruler.) Currently in the 9th Grade in high school, she strives her best in her new school year to manage her anger. Her life motto? Doing one good deed at a time. A dark comedy, tackling the issues of drug addiction, premarital sex, suicide, insanity and lots of other dark issues in today's society, all in the name of funny and sarcasm. Will publish this in short stories format.

Still a work in progress.
