Sheyenne Leigh Escalante

My name is Sheyenne Leigh Escalante and one of my hobbies is writing poetry but one day i want my poetry to be read by others and hopefully it inspires them. I grew up in a small town in Texas. I used to play basketball when i lived in Texas but then we moved to Arkansas and thats when i found out that i love writing poetry. Some obstacles that i have overcome was being more confident in myself. Some challenges i have faced were going to a mental hospital 3 years in a row and being bullied. One inspirational quote that inspires me the most is " This Too Shall Pass" it helped me get through the rough times in life. I want to be fully committed into my poetry, i just havent found the right place to publish them. Some of my hobbies are of course writing poetry, choir, drawing. I am 17 yrs old. My plans for the future are either to be a counselor or a writer. I hope to make a difference in the world by letting people know that they are not alone. I hope to help people get through things in life by my poetry on how i feel and some of my poetry is really deep so i hope y'all enjoy.
