I have a creative mind that thinks it’s a technical one. I’ve
spent all my life up until now studying science and engineering
but also love the mystical and that little grey place where
I was told I was going to progressively lose my sight and go
blind within 2 years and need cornea transplants to see again. I
didn’t listen to the doctors and did my own research into the
disease. 7 years later I’m still seeing very well and still have
both my corneas, I consider myself very lucky.
I don’t believe in people who believe they know what’s best for
me and I love people who don’t care what other people think.
I try and post my stories before I think they are ready,
otherwise I’ll probably never post them.
I find it hard to write a critical review of someone’s work on
Bookies because I’ve never found a story that didn’t interest me.
The more wacky way-out and against the norm the better, I
just keep getting amazed on how high the quality of writing is
here, not to mention how original some of the stories are .
I like to read and give comments to new writers on Bookies and
tend to give comments to users I’ve seen giving thoughtful and
constructive comments to other writers. You don’t have to give me
a comment for me to read your story but I also never read stories
from those who just cold post asking me to read their work, I
think we should be celebrating and sharing everyone’s writing on
Bookies rather than just plugging our own.
If you haven’t figured it out yet I can’t spell and my grammar is
very creative :)
