Profile Information

Born of farmer parents in a hencoop while mother was collecting eggs, I was temporalily placed with the laying hens while mother finished collecting the eggs of the day. It was then she noticed my egg shaped head and she was delighted as that was her favourite shape.

Attended Chicken Primary where we learned all about chickens, hens, cocks and eggs. Not being clever enough to attend secondary school my parents put me in charge of the chickens where I learned to cackle like them.

As an adult I gave lessons at University teaching "cackling" to students who wanted to communicate with chickens.

I`m interested in trying to stop the barbaric way we treat farm animals, enclosing them in pens where they can`t enjoy the sun, fresh air, the water and dust baths, being forcibly fed, in tiny little pens where they can`t even lie down throughout their whole life. Then we kill and eat them.

This treatment is reminiscent of the concentration camps we all heard about, and it is the most cruel way to treat a creature who has the same right as us humans to enjoy Nature. They are made of  the same elements as we are, star dust, may be not so intelligent but, can you lay an egg?, can you find your home when taken hundreds of miles away?, can you find somebody by your sense of smell?, can you run as fast?, do these animals encarcerate others in their millions in concentration camps?, torturing them that way till they die?, no respite, no rest, no a breathing who is the animal?..........and all for what?, we still die and rot like them.

Yes, we have to eat other animals but the least thing we can do, if we think we are more intelligent, is to let them enjoy Nature as it is intended, and then kill them in a humane way, but to torture them all their lives as well is an inhuman act completely depleted of gratitude and compassion to a creature who is giving us its body, its whole being, for us to live, and who shares the same Earth as we do. Nature never intended to be like that, our so call intelligence hasn`t helped us very much to preserve Nature`s integrity, not only we are destroying it with pollution, but in that process we also torture to death its creatures.

So, who is the ungrateful, uncompassionate, cruel animal?.............the answer is clear to me.................

Long live no intelligence...................
