My first experience with the power of words occurred when I was a mere three years old!

I was assigned give a talk in Sunday School at church, & though I still don't know who the author was, I'll remember the poem my mother taught me to share for that talk until the day I die;

"I had a little Smile, & I gave it away;

To make somone else happy, You see?

But, what do you know?

At the end of the day,

That smile came right back to me..."

A few years further into my life, I started writing my own poetry... The first one was as a third grader, for a teacher who taught epitaphs at Halloween...

Each of us wrote our own...

That "Funeral script" was my first poem, it made me think; A lot!!

So much that it has caused me to alter my life's decisions & priorities to conform to the desire I formed at that time to make my life reflect a difference, & attempt to impact the "Lake of life"!!

Haiku followed, required by the same teacher, "Cherry blossoms bloom in spring..."

From this sprang a desire to fill the minds of others with vivid images painted on the canvas of words.

I hope that all my writing inspires thoughts, feelings, emotions, & ideals...

That it penetrates to the ultimate core of the readers who view it...

to dedicate

my life's work & all

of my accomplishments,

whether large or small; to my wife,

she, to whom I've given my life, & my soul!

Some day, when I'm gone, she may hear or come

to a knowledge of my writings on this site. My feelings &

my comments, my fancies, & secret wishes; Those that, with all of

the fervor of my heart, I would satisfy, quench, & satiate with

you my love... If... If only that were your desire too...

Yes, I'd finally be a complete, & fully happy

man... if only you had the same

desires to give of yourself; of your very special heart,

mind, and body to this hopelessly devoted man who now stands

in your doorway, worships                           your very existence, and

longs for a day...For time                              in which he'd be able to

share with you; to be the                            one man that you'ld need

me to be to make you to want me, & yes, fully love...To want to give

of yourself to want to share with & to be with... To want...To need...

To desire... To be proud of and shower with the dews of your

phycological embrace. Without care for the morrow; for

the money of the world or the "Things" that my

sweat can hard purchase...

We both know the bills will never, ever, go away... No matter at all how much or little $$$ I'm able to make, or not make.

For the size, shape & feel of the home I know you wish you had. For the life that I know you wish I could provide... I give you this "Diamond" ring... I love you for who you are. For the brilliant smile in your lovely eyes in those few moments when you set these concerns aside, those little moments when I AM able to satisfy & please you... It is, my sweet, in those rare moments, when:

It is only then that;

I so wish that I were capable of making them happen so much more often for both of us. Please; If ever you see this, will you take this as the very large Diamond that I so wish I had been able to put on your finger to replace the small one that I gave you because it was the best that I had... Yet even this is a pale sheet... Especially when compared to a fraction of your beauty!

It was the best I could do at the time. You really want & need more than who I am; you need a prince of Siam. A King. A man of means, one of great courage, of excellence, of valor. I appologize to you that you are stuck with me, with someone so much less than what you thought you were getting. Thanks for your richness in spirit, in beauty, & in mind. I'm an unworthy specimen that you've had to be stuck with, & have had to put up with, but please know that I thank you, my dear, for your great sacrifice...

I wish that I was more for you. Given my wish, I'd provide you with more in life, and fill all of the dreams that you believe you have, so unfulfilled, I would see them all realized. Hopefully, where I am now, I'll be given the ability to reach down from the position where I've been placed, & be able to help you to find a soul to take my place! One who deserves you, & who can, & will, bring to your earthly table, the fine, the delectable & the well placed niceties in life, that you deserve. You're my jewel...I want you to know that I really & truly do love you, with all my heart, mind & capability...

For you I exist...But with you I languish...

Here's some food for thought:

A teenage girl about 17 named Diane had gone to visit some friends one evening and time passed quickly as each shared their various experiences of the past year. She ended up staying longer than planned, and had to walk home alone. She wasn't afraid because it was a small town and she lived only a few blocks away. As she walked along under the tall elm trees, Diane asked God to keep her safe from harm and danger. When she reached the alley, which was a short cut to her house, she decided to take it. However, halfway down the alley she noticed a man standing at the end as though he were waiting for her. She became uneasy and began to pray, asking for God's protection. Instantly a comforting feeling of quietness and security wrapped round her, she felt as though someone was walking with her. When she reached the end of the alley, she walked right past the man and arrived home safely.

The following day, she read in the newspaper that a young girl had been raped in the same alley just twenty minutes after she had been there. Feeling overwhelmed by this tragedy and the fact that it could have been her, she began to weep. Thanking the Lord for her safety and to help this young woman, she decided to go to the police station. She felt she could recognize the man, so she told them her story. The police asked her if she would be willing to look at a lineup to see if she could identify him. She agreed and immediately pointed out the man she had seen in the alley the night before. When the man was told he had been identified, he immediately broke down and confessed. The officer thanked Diane for her bravery and asked if there was anything they could do for her. She asked if they would ask the man one question. Diane was curious as to why he had not attacked her.

When the policeman asked him, he answered, "Because she wasn't alone. She had two tall men walking on either side of her."

Amazingly, whether you believe or not, you're never alone. Did you know that 98% of teenagers will not stand up for God, and 93% of the people that read this won’t repost it? Repost this if you truly believe in God. PS: God is always there in your heart and loves you no matter what, and if you stand up 4 him he will stand up for you. (Aka He's watching you as you read this and seeing if you'll repost it!)

A 15 year old girl holds hands with her 1 year old son. People call her a slut, yet no one knows she was raped at age 14. People call another guy ''fat'', no one knows he has a serious disease causing him to be overweight, People call an old man ''ugly'', no one knows he experienced a serious injury to his face while fighting for our country in the war. Re-post this if you are against bullying and stereotyping. I bet 88% of you won't.., yet we should..
