Profile Information

It all first started as a bit of fun. I developed a character called Victorian Gentleman and used him as an avatar and went about using him as an antidote to political correctness, politics and modern living.

An artist by trade, this was to be a welcome replacement to watching the television which I have long since being sick of, I wanted to do something that would reflect my interests in literature and Victorian history, this is where my inspiration lay, namely in the wonderful author of the Flashman books George McDonald Fraser.

This victorian gentleman, is clearly in the wrong decade. But what better place to have him though? A man of impeccable manners, strict, stout, hasty with his club and his fists, a snob, a bigot. . . all the wonderful qualities that regaled such men of that wondrous (if slightly jaundiced) time. Looking at the rise in crime, gang cultures that is plaguing Western culture, lack of good manners, political correctness strangling common sense. . . couldn't we all do with a man like this? Of course we do! Begod!
